Task of tripper cars is to transfer („drop“) material from the remote conveyor belt to the stacker. Tripper cars moves „straddling“ over the remote conveyor belt. There are two types of tripper cars with different travel construction design – a rail travel and a crawler travel. The control system supervises positions of moving parts (hoist and the slew of a boom, hoist of a run-on part and the travel), monitores level limit positions and failure states and reacts to operators commands (the travel, a position change and a boom operation). In case of tripper cars equipped by the crawel travel is a part of travel a regulation system with focus on turning operations of the travel. Visualisation provides values, failure states and interface to enter operating parameters.
